LONGGOY means “to try” in the Northern Thai dialect. It’s an invitation to experiment. A glimpse into the workshop, showroom, and process. Shaped by memory, LONGGOY is rooted in traditional Lanna culture. It lives in Supakorn’s memory of school, where wearing traditional clothing every Friday was a ritual of its own. His mother, too, remains one of the lasting reasons he became a designer—she is one herself. When describing LONGGOY, the history of Lanna is woven into both the narrative and the collections. The craft reveals itself through integrating new patterns to the silhouette and textile—each garment telling a thousand stories. The ’90s kid in Supakorn (Kla) inspires his playful interpretation of 8-bit Lanna motifs. Another source of inspiration, his partner and muse Yok, wears his designs as though they were made just for her. LONGGOY has grown into a vision of vibrant blue. Their mission extends beyond design—they also teach, nurturing a new generation of designers. And in a moment of serendipity, LONGGOY and KLĀY will soon share a space together in the heart of Nimman. So—let’s try it out.
